Gone Fishing

No, really.

The Little Truckee River, on my first guided trip.

It’s going to be cold, and the fish will be down. Might be I don’t get a bite. But I wanted out of Fallon, and spent an entertaining evening in Truckee, a town I have always loved without quite knowing why.

In the meantime, I leave you with this 16 minute training video about the landing signal officer, courtesy of occasional reader Spaz Sinbad. It’s amazing how much has changed, and how much has not since MCMLXIII.
